Will you choose freedom from energy totalitarianism?

As the government sneaks in almost totalitarian power on the back of the so called “climate crisis” in the guise of the rush to “net zero” the public has failed to notice the way to subvert their aims.

What is government up to? Under the terms of the Energy Bill your power supplier will have he right to enter your house to replace your meter with a smart meter. They can be accompanied by the police, use force to enter your home and restrain you if you try to refuse. Handcuffs? Arrest and plice cell? All possible.

You will not be allowed to rent or sell your home if it does not comply with at lesat band C of an energy performance certificate. An appointed inspector will give you orders on how to comply and how many tens of thousands you will have to spend to install heat pumps, underfloor heating and other “improvements” that you might not either want or be able to afford.

Once you have your smart meter the energy supplier can monitor how much power you, your street, village or town is using. Another batch of inspectors appointed under Energy Saving Opportunity Schemes will have the right to foorce entry to your home and assess how you could improve your property’s efficiency.

Don’t like the idea? Thinking of objecting? Think again. Refusal to comply with orders carries a penalty. One year in prison and a £15,000 fine.

So how can you avoid this nightmare? No-one is telling you, but the way to do it is to get off the grid. Solar panels or Tesla Roof, or one of the other solar roof tile suppliers. Either vertical or horizontal wind turbines. You can start small with one and increase as you go. Feed the power into a charge controller, there are plenty on the market, and then feed the power into your battery bank.

You can keep your system on 12 volt or use an inverter to bring it up to 240 volt which is cheaper in terms of the cost of appliances.

What if the wind doen’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine? Your batteries will tide you over, or you can do what people do in case of power cuts, which in winter can last for a couple of weeks or more, and add a petrol generator into the equation.

No more need to empower the government and energy suppliers. You are now free to use as much or as little as you can provide for yourself.

Even the Repubicans want to thwart the will of the people and derail the Trump candidacy

There is now no doubt about the aim of the various legal challenges to Donald Trump. Even the Republicans are considering legal action to prevent his candidacy and legal challenges have been filed under the 14th amendment which disqualifies anyone who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States from public office.

The only reason there can be for this is to thwart the will of the people who are supporting Mr. Trump in their droves. Was this really the aim of the consititution? Is this really true democracy?

If Mr. Trump is prevented from standing whoever wins will not be the true president of the United States. He will be a stooge put into power by those who do not trust the people and who believe that they know better than each individual what is good for them.

That new president will be presiding over the death of demoocracy in the US.
